The following pages are dedicated to sharing the Science of Kundalini Yoga
and meditation; a scientific technology that balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system and enables us to harness the energy of the mind and the emotions, so that we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings.

What is Kundalini Yoga

Yoga has its origins in the human experience. Its techniques for living a healthy, happy and spiritually aware life have developed through thousands of years and across many civilizations.

Yoga began with the advent of conscious living. One person would find some small technique of massage, meditation or exercise that could alleviate a problem. The knowledge would then become a common community resource that all could practice. Much of early community life was formed around these bits of knowledge; cooking, for example, was a medicinal art and not aimed solely at satisfying the taste buds.

It was considered essential to have certain spices, oils, herbs and foods combined to maintain health and stimulate the automatic long term elimination and healing processes of the body. The taste of food was considered as one factor in the cooking but was never its aim. There were periods in history when whole areas and small civilizations designed their life around these techniques, living long and vibrant lives free from the violence or illnesses so common today and in recent history.
