In time, this uniquely flavoured tea was served in the Golden Temple vegetarian restaurants that sprouted in Europe and the U.S. during the early 70s. Yogi Tea became a hit with the customers because of its delicious taste and tonic-like effects. In response to such a positive demand, the Golden Temple restaurants began to package and sell the tea to local natural food stores. This grass roots endeavour blossomed into the Yogi Tea Company.

Today, the extensive line includes delicious spice blends, green teas and a line of highly specialised Ayurvedic recipes designed to maintain and support vitality and well being.
